This Policy is drafted in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

1. Data Fiduciary

For the purposes of this Policy, TTN Consulting Labs Private Limited acts as the Data Fiduciary responsible for determining the purpose and means of processing your personal data.

We collect information to provide and improve our AI coaching services. The types of data we collect include:

2.1 Personal Information

  • Identity Data: Name, email address, and profile picture (collected via Sign In with Apple on iOS, or Google Sign-In on iOS and Android).
  • Subscription Data: Purchase history and subscription status (via Apple App Store on iOS, or Google Play Store on Android).

2.2 User-Generated Content (Sensitive Personal Data)

  • Voice Recordings: Audio data recorded during practice sessions.
  • Transcripts: Text transcriptions of your speech generated by our AI services.
  • Text Inputs: Written responses or questions you input for refinement.

2.3 Usage & Technical Data

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version (iOS or Android), IP address, and unique device identifiers.
  • Analytics: Usage patterns, session duration, and feature engagement metrics.
  • Crash Logs: Technical data to help us fix bugs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for specific, lawful purposes:

  • To Provide Services: To record, transcribe, and analyze your speech using AI to provide coaching feedback.
  • To Improve ORAITOR: To train our models (anonymously), fix bugs, and enhance app performance.
  • To Communicate: To send you service updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • To Process Payments: To manage your subscription tiers (handled securely by Apple).

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do NOT sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers ("Data Processors") strictly for service delivery:

  • OpenAI: We send audio transcripts and text prompts to OpenAI's API to generate AI feedback and speech analysis. According to OpenAI's API data usage policy, API data is not used to train their models by default. Please refer to OpenAI's privacy policy for the most up-to-date information.
  • Firebase (Google): For secure authentication, encrypted cloud storage of your profile and session history, analytics, and crash reporting (iOS and Android).
  • Apple: For Sign In with Apple authentication (iOS only) and processing in-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS.
  • Google: For Google Sign-In authentication (iOS and Android) and processing in-app purchases and subscriptions on Android via Google Play.
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment processing on Android. RevenueCat helps us manage subscriptions across platforms securely.

5. Data Storage & Security

5.1 Security Measures

We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as required by Indian law, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Access Control: Strict role-based access to our systems.

5.2 Local-First Architecture

For enhanced privacy, ORAITOR uses a "local-first" approach. Audio recordings are primarily processed on-device or temporarily processed by secure APIs. We do not permanently store your raw audio files on our servers unless you explicitly opt-in for specific cloud features. Usage metadata and feedback text are synced to our secure cloud database.

6. Your Rights (Rights of Data Principals)

Under the DPDP Act and applicable laws, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: You can request a summary of your personal data being processed.
  • Right to Correction: You can request updates to inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data. You can perform this directly within the App settings ("Delete Account").
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: You have the right to register a grievance regarding your data privacy.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 12. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 12. If we become aware that a child under 12 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our active databases.
